The Town of Orono, specifically the Orono Fire Department will not be issuing any burn permits at this time. There are red flag alerts all over the State of Maine. As the Weather channels have stated - if it is not raining outside than the ground is too dry!! Thank you from the Orono Fire Department. We will be assessing the situation on a daily basis.
