You will gain experience in home winterization, energy efficiency, and be able to help your fellow community members stay warm and save energy this season! It is an ideal position for a recent retiree who wants to stay involved & help their community, a recent graduate looking for more experience, or anyone who wants to get more involved in Orono sustainability (open to ages 18-99). It comes with an educational award at the end of service which may be used either by the volunteer themselves, or passed on to children/grandchildren. The September 1st start date simply means that it will start once it is filled/background checks are complete. We look forward to receiving your application!
