LDR Zoning Recommendations Drafted

On Thursday, Dec. 4, 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers, the Comprehensive Plan Committee will review a DRAFT set of recommendations to the Town Council concerning the Low Density Residential zoning district.  This district covers land in the geographic center of Orono, just west of I-95 along Stillwater Ave and out Forest Ave. about 1.25 miles.

Book Sale Friday and Saturday!

Avoid the mall chaos by shopping at the library this weekend!  The Friends of the Orono Public Library group is offering you the opportunity to shop local, support your artist friends, and recycle donated books for gifts at a book sale and local artists craft sale just in time for the holidays! There will be a preview book sale on Friday the 5th, after closing, from 5 to 7pm, for a $10 admission fee.  Saturday's book and craft sale is from 10am - 2pm.  There is no admission fee for...
