Tip-A-Cop!

Police Department

Saturday December 7 at Margaritas in Orono (From 4pm to 8pm) will be Tip a Cop!!

Members from Orono Police Department and members from other local police agencies will be helping the staff waiting on tables at Margaritas in Orono.

The money raised from Tip a Cop will go to Special Olympics, Maine.

Great food and lots of fun! Hope to see you there!!

PENDING QUARRY APPLICATION

Thornton Construction has withdrawn their application for their request for the quarry off of Kelley Road.  The Planning Board was scheduled to hear the continuation of the site plan on the quarry request  at their December 18th meeting.  The board will not be acting on this request at this meeting.

Children's Holiday Party

We are offering a late night at the Orono Library on Friday, December 13th.  We will be doing a holiday party for the children that are signed up.  Provided will be dinner and snacks.  5:30 pm drop-off or stay through Afterschool.  The children will be picked up by their parents by 9:00 pm.  Click here to sign up for the program

Recreation Basketball

The Orono Parks and Recreation Department is proud to offer a youth basketball program for grades PreK-5 under the leadership of our new director, Bob Sinclair.  This program will be held on Saturday mornings beginning December 7th at the Orono Middle School.

Gingerbread House Construction - December 17th

Come make a Gingerbread House at the Keith Anderson Community House on Tuesday, December 17th.  3:30 p.m. the construction will begin. 

This program is for all age children.

Tea With Santa-December 10th

The North Pole is calling all children to come to a "Tea With Santa" on Tuesday, December 10th at 10am in the Keith Anderson Community House.

All children will have an opportunity to visit with Santa, Mrs. Claus and talk about their Holiday Wishes. Each child will receive a small gift from Santa and enjoy some tea (it's really juice) and Holiday treats.
