Free Trees

Trees will be available this spring to Orono residents at no cost.  The Tree Board will assist the property owner in planting of the trees.  The trees must be planted in the public domain (i.e. on land along the streets owned and maintained by the town) and are available on a first come, first served basis.  

Residents interested in having trees planted in front of their homes should call the Town Office and leave their name, address and telephone number.  All tree sites will have to...

Liza Gardner Walsh’s presentation postponed to Tuesday, March 24.

Liza Gardner Walsh will be visiting the Orono Public Library on March 24 from 3:30 until 4:30.  She will be presenting her book Treasure Hunter's Handbook as well as doing some fun hands on activities!  She will also be presenting that night from 6:30 until 7:30 for young adults and adults on her book, The Haunted Fort!  Pass the word on and we look forward to seeing you.
