Orono Community Theatre presents ...

The Orono Community Theatre presents Proof by David Auburn, directed by Sandy Cyrus with Dick Brucher, Jennifer Hancock, Joel Crabtree and Hailey Crabtree. 

The performances will be held on January 16, 17, 18, 24 & 25 at 7:30 pm and January 19 & 26 at 2:00 pm in the Cyrus Pavilion Theatre at the Unversity of Maine.  Tickets:  $12 Adults, $6 UMaine students with ID. Tickets on sale at the Orono Pharmacy and at the door.  Mature content.  No late seating.

Municipal/Public Safety Parking Lot Closed 5AM-8AM, Dec 31st

Please be advised that the parking lot behind the Orono Municipal and Public Safety Buildings will be closed tomorrow (Tuesday, December 31st) from 5AM – 8AM to allow the Public Works Crew to remove snow.  Staff who normally park in this lot should park in the Asa Adams parking lot – if you are assigned or responsible for a Town owned vehicle please make sure that the vehicle has been cleaned and moved to the Asa Adams parking lot before you leave today.

2014 Recycling Schedule

Zero Sort Recycling is a more efficient and convenient way of collecting residential recycling. Residents are not required to sort recycled materials for curbside collection. Materials simply need to be placed curbside in a recycling bin or otherwise clearly marked container marked "Recycling". Recycling stickers for your containers are available at the Town Office. Materials can also be placed in clear plastic trash bags. Pine Tree Waste will be collecting recycled materials every other...

Trash/Recycling Delayed to Fri/Sat Pickup

Residents please note that trash and recycling pickup will be delayed one day due to the Christmas Holiday.  Thursday pickups will be Friday, December 27th and Friday pickups will be Saturday, December 28th.
