Festival Day - Vendor Form

Vendor Forms are now available to reserve a table for Festival Day, Saturday, September 7, 2013.  The cost for a table is $25 for Orono Residents and $35 for Non-Residents. 

Join in on the food, fun, crafts and entertainment for all ages in downtown Orono. Print a copy of the vendor form and send in your check for space reservations to:  Belle Ryder, Town of Orono, 59 Main Street, Orono, ME 04473.

Plenty of Free Parking Downtown

The Town parking lot on Bennoch Road across from the Post Office has been closed to make way for expansion of the parking lot and the construction of the University Credit Union’s new headquarters at the corner of Bennoch and Main Street.  The new, larger parking lot will re-open in mid-2014.

Meanwhile, there is a lot of free public parking within easy walking distance of your favorite restaurants and stores:

The Pine Street municipal lot (behind Pat’s Pizza, Marguerita’s, etc.)

The communities of Bangor, Bradley, Brewer, Eddington, Hampden, Hermon, Holden, Milford, Old Town, Orono, Orrington, and Veazie all have extensive trail systems and opportunities to enjoy the natural beauty of our area but it's very difficult to get to one trail system from another or even find the trails if you're not familiar with the local land trust's website. If you have read that one, we will start including ideas from the book Hold Onto Your Kids.
