T-Ball is an introductory program which works on skill development, while emphasizing FUN and experiencing game like situations.  Each day, children will spend 30 minutes practicing skills and 30 minutes of game play.

This program is sponsored by the Maine Recreation & Parks Assoc. and the Hershey Chocolate Company.

  Regional Meet on June 23 @ 1:00 pm, in Bangor.  Top 3 move on to the State Meet.

State Meet on July 7th @ 11:00 am, in Bangor.

Red Riot Track Club

Join OHS track  coach, Chris Libby and become part of USA Track & Field.  Learn the techniques of the many different areas of track in a Fun and Safe atmosphere.  A USTF membership  form required. Ages: 7-14

Triple A Baseball

This program is a transitional league  betweenT-Ball and Minor Little League baseball. 

The program stresses fun and safety with a large emphasis on skill development and game knowledge in a learning environment.  Teams will  play games vs Veazie Rec.

A new Tai Chi program is being offered for adult men and women.  Dr. Yuvui Zhen, who has learned and practiced the art of Tai Chi daily for many years will be teaching.  This program will provide one-on-one as well as small group instruction to participants.  You will be taught the basic 24 moves, the spirit of Tai Chi, how to breathe properly and how Chinese Tea helps to maximize the practice of Tai Chi.  The goal of this program is to relax, establish and maintain the flexibility of your body.   Come join Dr. Zhen at the Keith Anderson Community House, 19 Bennoch Rd., on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 11:45-12:45 starting May 12th.  The fee for this program is $15.00 per week.  A minimum number of 6 participants required.
