March 29, 2018, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Council Chambers
The Town of Orono will hold the second public meeting for the Park Street Transportation Study on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 6:00 PM in the Town of Orono Council Chambers. The purpose of the meeting is to present the Draft Transportation Improvement Plan in order to gain community feedback on the plan’s recommendations.
The Park Street Draft Transportation Improvement Plan includes short-term and long-range conceptual roadway improvement alternatives and traffic systems management improvement recommendations within the Park Street (Route 2) corridor, from the Orono - Old Town line up to, and including, the approaches of College Avenue.
The Town of Orono Park Street Transportation Study Advisory Committee, consisting of Town staff, the Maine Department of Transportation, the Bangor Area Comprehensive Transportation System, and University of Maine, resident, and business-owner representatives, encourages the public’s input on the draft plan.
