We've had so many book donations that we decided to add a spring sale as well. Come load up on cheap books! $2 for hardback, $1 for paperback, plus extra deals on kids' books and during the final hour. All the proceeds support programming at the library.

Pajama Story Time happens once a month, typically on the third Thursday (but check our calendar to be sure!). Wear your pajamas, listen to our favorite stories, munch on a breakfast snack. PJ Time has become a cozy evening gathering over the years, we hope you'll join us, this time from the comfort of your own homes. Everyone is welcome!

A UMaine STEM Ambassador will run this program from the Boston Museum of Science's Engineering Adventures Program. Participants will experiment with circuits and sculpting materials and design a light display that replicates the Northern Lights. For kids in Grades 3-5. Enrollment is limited. Everyone loves waterfalls. There’s something hypnotic about watching water move across rock. It’s so simple and yet infinitely complex. The wash of white noise is soothing, creating a layering of tones like an orchestra. I was excited to get to write a hiking guide to Maine’s waterfalls. No PreReqs is back! The Orono Public Library book club returns, in partnership with area professionals. On the last Tuesday of each month, a discussion will be led by a local expert, of a title based on their experience and interest.
This month's title is Home Now by Cynthia Anderson. Leading the discussion will be Linda Silka, PhD Senior Fellow, Senator George J. Mitchell Center For Sustainability.
